@@TheMrHeartkiller eu toco guitarra e sei do que tô falando! Mas me diz onde eu disse que o Ashba é considerado um dos grandes guitarristas da história? Aí também já seria demais, mas eu curto sim o trabalho dele, e prefiro o Slash, mas mesmo assim acho horrível essas comparações! Em questão de técnica, só uma curiosidade, o Ashba conseguia reproduzir os solos do Robin Finck tranquilamente e até melhorava alguns(como This I Love, por exemplo), já o Slash DESTRUIU a maioria dos solos lindos e cheios de técnica do Chinese, olha o q ele fez em This I Love, tem que dividir solos rápidos como o de Chinese Democracy e Better com o Fortus, não consigo mais ouvir There Was a Time que eu amava com o Slash tocando, ele simplesmente destruiu aquele solo infinitamente técnico do Buckethead, e tenho quase certeza que ele jamais conseguiria tocar os solos de Shackler’s Revenge e Rhyad N’ the Bedouins próximos aos originais

Like many of you, I worshipped Slash's solos back in the day but time moves on. Technically, Tosin Abasi is up there in terms of where he's willing to take the guitar in anything resembling hard rock / metal but on any given night I'm sure there are literally hundreds of guitarists that can still wail out front of the right band - it's just not the focus for a lot of younger bands. If I have one regret it's that no-one seems to have bothered to properly capture Buckethead's solos during his brief time with GNR - the vids I've seen are crappy phone vids and the like.

Was this video made to ridiculize DJ Ashba?? Its more than obvious that Slash is a very known virtuoso and talented musician with a long non stopping career. DJ Ashba is not bad, but he still needs to walk a long way to be compared with Slash, and by then Slash woul be even better than he is right now.
