I got the Kishi for iPhone. It worked automatically with Xbox and Ps5 remote play with the app. Didn’t have to do anything to set it up. Buttons were “Xbox” layout but the PlayStation buttons worked where they should be

@@FDB-8 basically its a controller for your phone, so if u can "control" it with a controller, u can control it too. But its for the phone as in, it has no bluetooth, no wireless stuff, its a plugin controller (which is really awesome)

@@FDB-8 I play Halo infinite on a Moto G Fast and Moto G power (2021) and never have major issues. The Kishi is just a gamepad for your phone nothing more, you play through the game pass app on Android or through browser on iOS. Right now best buy has the Kishi for $60

Cloud gaming is close. But what kishi is great for is emulators. I love how every emulator will just work with it. This is hands down my favorite way to emulate classic games and even more modern games like gamecube and ps2

Just picked up a Moto G Fast and Kishi specifically to play emulation and XCloud. My Xbox S finally crapped out and instead of buying a new console (Im primarily on the go with mobile games) I opted for this mobile set up. Works wonderfully, obviously there's some lag here and there and the screen quality suffers but to play triple A games like halo/Forza 5 or even Skyrim right on my phone anywhere on the go is a pretty amazing trade off. I also have a Moto G power that's works when I'm at home so I'm not killing my dailys battery all the time.

not really. basically once these games disappear from xbox servers, that's it. its gone. there's no physical media that you can reminisce with you kids 20 years from now. there's no box art, no manual/booklet, nothing, like it never existed. the whole concept eliminates the game's actual value.

Physical games you physically own it.....yet used ones for like 10 bucks goes for 60 full price digital....they need to fix that it is a rip off for not being able to have the rights to own it.

Brought a Kishi yesterday to use it with my S10 and downloaded xcloud. The screen is off centre though and pushed all the way to the left with a big black bar down the right side of the screen. I've changed resolution but it hasn't made a difference. Is there a fix to this or it a glitch ?

for me the passthrough charge doesnt work if the otg connetion is turned on. if i turn it off, id be able to charge but that disconnects the controller.

I noticed that you can't plug in the phone while the app is already running like an emulator app it will not detect it and you have to restart the app after you plug it in in some cases. I noticed on dolphin MMJR that I had to go in and program all the controls for GameCube It did not work straight out of the box and I thought it was incompatible but I just had to map it.

Razer Kishi is 2 steps from being perfectly designed. The elastic back part should use a belt pull kind of like a seatbelt in a car where its wound up most likely in the left bridge. Probaly a good idea to use a tear proof material like a seatbelt too. As for buttons they should use the same quality as their wolverine controller. Of course this all might make it heavier and probably increase the price tag to $100 but it would be worth the premium feel.

That's the xbox streaming service. I'm pretty sure he was talking about that the controller does not have any lag or delay in responding to the game. The screen tearing and stutter is different from the controller.

It doesn’t matter if phones have higher specs bc the games are generally trash in comparison. there’s always some loser focused solely on specs bc they’re a “hardcore gamer” 🙄. It’s not an accident that Xbox which is waaaay more powerful lost this generation by far even with a lead in release time vs the switch

I’ve tried to use Xbox cloud on my iPhone 8, and iphone 11, but every game I play overheats the phones. Video and audio cuts in and out constantly until it crashes the app in 30 seconds. Frankly, cloud gaming is a VERY bad idea…

Yes in a way there's two services the remote play and cloud streaming , 1. Let's you play games saved on the hardrive of your xbox (leave it in sleep mode ) over WiFi you gain access to your whole dashboard and ui of your xbox on your phone and play certain games (gamepass for sure all are playable ) 2. Is the regular cloud streaming you don't need an actual xbox just the gamepass account to stream the games

@@FaZeredemption3 my note 20 ultra can't handle PS2 roms. My Galaxy S5 can play PS1 and even some PSP games no problem. The Note 20 can handle most PSP games I find. it also handles Gamecube really well. Trust me, the difference between running bluetooth controllers and plug in controllers shows. Since phones arn't really designed for this.

Yes they are identical however the Xbox version has an Xbox logo on the home button. And the Xbox version comes with 2 weeks of free Xbox Gamepass. But thats the only difference

tried to set it up with my galaxy s21+ but it does not work neither with the tutorials nor with the kishi app and not with the mantis pro program. it does work on the android itself but not inside the COD or the Pubg, saw in some forums that you need another controller that needs to be connected to the phone via BLUETOOTH and only then the game will recognize the kishi and will let you play it perfectly. otherwise it just won't work unless you play the games that it is compatible with only. any of you have any way of helping me? any advice?

Apparently it doesn't automatically detect it. I read some other dudes comment about it working with emulator & he was saying it didn't detect automatically so he had to plug it in, restart the emulator then map the controls in the settings. I want to get one but I want to know if it's completely compatible first. Did you end up getting one for yourself? If so, does it work for you?
