Maybe I’m being a party pooper, but I absolutely HATE clean vocals in deathcore. It throws off the whole genre. Makes it sound like Metalcore

However, I've heard so much generic edgy deathcore trying to be as hard and heavy as possible that some deviation here and there is very welcome at this point. It's not my favorite, but still a great song for me. I think Alex does the cleans well. He's already mastered sounding like a badass inhuman demon. Where else do you go from there? Just do more devastating guttural screams until you're blue in the face? It probably gets boring.
