The drummer Evgeny has some real jazz funk to his playing. Check out his drum cam from when he was with katalepsy or even his raw playthrough of zevali ebalo. Definitely some serious bluesy jazz feel to it

These guys are my go to for metal music my absolutely favorite is I Killed A Man, I would suggest checking out Evgeny Novikov (their drummer) drum cam of their song Hell. Lol oh oh oh and their new one 1984 is good.

Evgeny Novikov is the drummer. He is a machine. I'm a bassist, and after 20 years learned to gallop pretty fast with my fingers. I could never hope to keep up with him. And yes, they are Russian, but they left Russia a bit after the war broke out and they've been staying in/touring here in the U.S. Alex spoke out against the war, and they wrote a great song (called 1984) essentially condemning it. Corrupt as we are, they're at least safe.
