WolRus - Thank you so much for the music that you all bring into a hurting and dying world. The music you sing & play is truly annointed by the Holy Spirit. I particularly enjoy your songs, “Только Иисус” and also, “Альфа И Омега,” and others. These are such peaceful songs with powerful and uplifting lyrics. I also enjoy listening to Церковь Божия Music virtually every day, along with others like Purim Team. I like listening to these songs while working and driving around town and singing along in Russian. The music brings you into an attitude of worship and you can feel the presence and anointing of the Holy Spirit. My interest in Russian Christian music all began while listening to Simon Khorolskiy. His song, “Have Mercy,” (“Помилуй Меня, Боже”) truly changed my life and was when I first felt the gentle tugging of the Holy Spirit leading me to begin learning the Russian language. This song was also how the Holy Spirit blessed me with a “prayer language.” “Have Mercy” is based on Psalms 51 where King David confesses his sin of adultery to God and illustrates how the Lord can only work in our lives through our being humble before Him in complete transparency. The Lord began to lead me to begin learning the Russian language a little over 18 months ago and have since taught myself to read, write and sing in Russian as well as Ukrainian. Even though I can read, pronounce and sing in Russian, I am not yet conversational or fully comprehending. To this day, I still don't know God's purpose or reason for leading me to learn Russian. I will continue to pray for peace between our two nations and also for the peace of Jerusalem. Yet, we all know that only God can bring true, meaningful and lasting peace into our world. Listening all the way from Fort Worth, Texas -->> Your Brother in Christ.
