Hi, comrade, I'm usually improvising pretty much. However, in this song you can just strum DOWN each quarter note (to simulate the accordion bass) or what I think would sound nice is down, down, down up, down ... Whatever works for you the best :-)

@@Sudetskij This song is still not welcome in today's German army because it was used so extensively by the XX. However, it can be sung unofficially by paratroopers off duty. Today's Bundeswehr strongly distances itself from the XX and largely sees it as a war crime. Good interpretation of the song. Hopefully our peoples won't have to shoot at each other again.
