"Glory to Stalin!", "Слава Сталину!" [Slava Stalinu!], is Soviet (USSR) patriotic song, that holds Stalin in high regard. Following his succession of political power from Lenin in 1924, Stalin would lead the Soviet Union along a bright road of industrialisation, launching economic plans that would result in a 236% increase in overall production output, as well as a 70% rise in wages between 1928 and 1933. In 1941, the USSR was invaded by the German Empire under Operation Barbarossa, igniting what would be known as the "Great Patriotic War" and bringing the Soviet Union into World War Two.
