Can you give me an instance where you feel it would be appropriate for one person to own another person as their property ?

@@pastorjerryshirley Well thank you that’s the correct answer I was looking for. So what is the biggest issues I have with the Bible and God is the endorsement of chattel slavery . Non-Hebrew slaves were slaves for life. Their children were slaves for life. Any newborn children automatically became a slave, and this continued for generation after generation after generation.. I don’t know why a loving and caring and prosperous. God would allow such actions. You just agreed with me that people are not property and should never be considered as such. Leviticus 25:44-46 New International Version 44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly. Thank you for the conversation. Feel free to respond.
