This is the epitome of what dancing is all about, parlaying our thoughts, our emotions, our feelings, and our spirituality into movement in tempo with music. It is even better when we can share it with another and become as one. This is what ballroom dancing is all about. It is a form of communication where one can be quite clear without verbalizing. It is best, if one should be blessed, to be able to share it with someone they love. In this, one is never too old to dance, even if it is only with the working parts of one’s body. In a separate interview, I heard Karina say that in their previous pairing, both she and Slavik fought about everything. The desire to be the best in the world took precedence over everything else, including a necessary respect for one’s partner. This led to their separation. They were not able to attain world champion status with various different partners. Their stars crossed paths again. It appears that they both matured and also came to a realization that they may never be world champion. They accepted that. It does not mean that they will not strive to be the best that they can be. More importantly, it appears that they have gained a deep mutual respect for each other. In this, it does take two to tango. Through this mutual respect, it appears they have developed a love for one another. If so, they have the potential for a lifetime of happiness, through both thick and thin. This is my wish for them. They have the potential for something more important than a world championship. It is my hope that they can share and teach the importance of a true mutual respect for the success of any partnership, through all its trials and tribulations. God Bless!

If you freeze the frame at 0:23 - 0:25 seconds, her face is that of a goddess...she's absolutely stunning!

Yes. There is another version of this, filmed in a slightly different angle and shows this moment from a front on close up shot. It is chillingly beautiful and it is as though she is looking straight into your soul.

Maria iannou. They are both extraordinary choreographers and do that themselves with the input of their coaches. Yes they have coaches even at this highest of level even if just to bounce ideas off.
