Double click on an item being worn to put the item back into storage. You don't have to swap them.

I had a Nox combo where he gained defense every crit, every crit generated 2 mana, and 2x deal crit as ephemeral it was so god but lacked survivability :( I wish endless mode didn't remove the first two relics
