Looks like Hans' forearm sampled a bit of the Bay Area soil - ouch. What a treat to watch you two adventure around. Hope you got some salt pepper wings at the Capital restaurant in chinatown! You guys really show off how great e-mtb's are allowing you to have such an expansive ride in just one afternoon. Wish more of my fellow mtb'ers would change their minds about eebs. While I don't have one yet (currently enjoying my GT Sensor), this 54 year old basher definitely sees one in my future - hopefully the access issues regarding ebikes will resolve in a positive way, so I can continue my mtb-adventure for decades to come.

Great video. So much more mtb in SF bay area. Maybe you can continue by going south of Pacifica. Higgins Purisima, El Corte de Madera, Stevens Creek, etc. To bad all of the fun single track trails, in El Corte Madera, made by dirt bikes (in the 60's and 70's) are all gone.

Wish I still had the old klunker with drum brakes and two speed kickback. Today, I look closely at Inglis and RetroTec for the elegance and today's geometry converged into a bike with a cause. I have no bike problem, I ride fall down, get back on and ride more!! No problem... I appreciate you.

I've just discovered mountain biking this past year. I was born in San Francisco, raised in Marin County. A few of my school mates were some of the first mountain bikers. Thanks for a fun viewing adventure with a great cast of characters!

Sorry I missed the livestream... LOVE IT! Thank you so much for riding in my backyard! (I'm 30 minutes by bike from Joaquin Miller Park.) Mt. Diablo was THE long day in the saddle from Berkeley for the Cal Cycling Team. 17:25: JMP, home of probably the worlds BIGGEST ever Redwood trees - ever. Called the "Navigator Trees," they were so large, ship captains approaching the Golden Gate used them for navigation into the bay (It's VERY hard to spot from at sea). Well, these trees were all cut down and people assumed there were even more large or larger ones on the north coast. Nope, turns out those were indeed the largest that ever grew. And unfortunately, the entire stump material of these majestic giants was removed for shingles. If they hadn't been, clones would have sprouted around the stumps and "fairy rings" of daughter Redwood trees would have grown in their places. Such a shame that amazing genetic stock was lost forever :( 19:00: Side O! Haven't ridden that in AGES!!!!! That was really great to watch. Thanks again for highlighting some of the Bay's trails. Next time you'll have to hit the peninsula & Santa Cruz. Then maybe a North Coast adventure!!!! PS Eines Tages schauen Sie uns Ihre Heimradwege in Stuttgart und Umgebung!!!
