Something I realized is that you aren’t just the one looking for and picking up the pieces of the Princess, but looking for and picking up the pieces of yourself. The voices of the smitten, the paranoid, the cold, are all pieces of you. Not only that, but the princess reacts differently to your actions, revealing different voices and therefore pieces of yourself. To put it simpler(ish?) the both of you are finding yourselves and each other, and once the both of you are whole, you’re ready to start this relationship. I think that’s what makes it a love story, and a sweet one at that ;v;🤍

Funny story, my favorite route in the game is if you slay the Damsel then yourself. Voice of the Cold is amazing when Voice of the Smitten is the foil to him.

Best thing of this path is, the third chapter it unlocks is an even better love story. Because leaving the cabin together with The Damsel is love at first sight, while leaving with The Thorn is learning to love again after a terrible betrayal. Or learning how to open yourself, to trust, after covering yourself with thorns, too fearful of being hurt again but trying anyway.

This game made me cry so many times. If you ever do decide to come back to this game, or if anyone else watching wants more, I would highly recommend buying it. There are many more routes not seen here, and many branching paths to the routes that were seen here. It’s just a lovely game overall, and there are more endings if anyone is curious.

There are several endings but i wont spoil them. I don’t know why but the best words I can think of to describe this game/visual novel are truth and philosophy. I really love it, and I’m happy to see more people playing it. I just wish that KZbin would start recommending it more, but unfortunately the game is so gory that it’s unlikely.

I wish you'd got the stranger ending. That's the one where you just continually walk away from the cabin and you pretty much break everything. It's kind of funny, but it's also really spooky. Also this is one of my favorite horror games! I love how it reveals that you and her are primordial gods at the end. It's so cool!

He's a bird man! There's many hints to it during the game, one of the forms even calling you a bird, references to your feathers, wings and beak etc, and also when you lighten the mirror photo a bit you can see the full form of a bird like creature.

I'm not gonna watch this video yet incase you cover any routes or choices I haven't found/tried yet, but I just want to thank you and also anyone who makes content on this game, because it's gone SO under the radar as of now, and I only found out about it a few days ago because a streamer I watch (Phisnom) played it and I decided to try it... now I've started a schedule of doing a playthrough of the game once a day and it's already easily in my top 10 games. The fact that so few people are making content on it is sad :( It's also insane that I like this game as much as I do because I don't even like visual novels. Even with Doki Doki I just skip to "the good parts'" and haven't played it myself... if you WERE a visual novel fan, this would probably be the perfect game! Also, about the title, I wouldn't really call this a "dating sim" personally. I mean, it undoubtedly has _some_ dating sim elements, but I think they're FAR from the focus of the game. Anyways, time to add this to another chrome tab to remember to watch it later, adding yet another toll onto my computer's ram. This is going to be my first experience with your channel actually, I might check out some of your other videos if I end up liking this one, which I probably will because only BASED people play this game.
