Slay the Spire May 5th Daily - Silent | I'm sorry to tell you this, Miss Silent, but it's Terminal.

Hi All! This is my attempt at the May 5th Daily with the Silent. The initial deck is shown at 1:50, the run starts at 2:20, and yesterday's review starts at 45:13.
The modifiers for this daily are:
1. Draft: Draft a custom starting deck of cards.
2. Time Dilation: All enemies start with the Slow debuff.
3. Terminal: Whenever you enter a new room, lose 1 Max HP. Start each combat with 5 Plated Armor.
My final score was very low since I died on Act III. I perfected 6/8 of the possible Elites (using Wing Boots) and 2/3 of the bosses.
Slay the Spire is a game created and developed by Mega Crit Games. An Early Access version was released in November 2017, and was updated almost weekly until the full release on January 23, 2019. Version 2.0 was released on January 14, 2020, which included many added relics, potions, and most importantly, the fourth character.

Amazing run, I had a discard deck and it was so much fun to play, but as for my score, I managed to just barely miss all the big point modifiers, 49 cards, 24 relics, 3 copies of cards, barely missing the last boss, 4 curses... 1247 Oh yes, and giant head is always great to fight in time dilation runs, since he gets a massive buff by being the only elite who doesn't get a debuff.

1330 - Going into awakened one I had literally taken 1 damage the whole run (thanks maw), was even able to always discard the regret. Birdie cleansing the slow debuf really hurt my decks effectiveness - second to last turn couldn't full block and took 6 damage- still won, but cost me beyond perfect. built a lot of discard into my deck - took reflex and tactician and concentrate (and instantly upgraded it) to try and set up combo later - never quite made combo happen, but the deck was strong. I think you undervalue prepared - especially in a slow run. While it's not a gain in draw, it lets you see more cards and helps you to go through your deck for free. In a slow run its also +10% damage for free and helps deal with curses. Apparitions with so much draw and discard were awesome - don't need to upgrade them if I can always discard them when I dont' need to play them. I was never offered bites - though I doubt I would have taken them. Terminal with both max HP loses is scary. Only had 44 cards at the end, I periodically ate cards for max HP, so encyclopedian could have happened. finished in 7 seconds less than an hour. pauper. Overkill from corpse explosion on gremlinleader. And 5 collectors. only 23 relics - shiny is just taunting me today. Wow - scores today are crazy - apparently perfecting everything is necessary for top 100. Or else, somewhere there's a way to get a lot more collectors. Shame about that second to last turn.

1457 points, 8/8 elites, 3/3 bosses, light speed, mustery machine (15), pauper, encyclopedian and 5 collectors Went for a zero cost deck at the start and lots of discard. Went smoothly all along? A bit sketchy near the end with lot's of cards but was enough to perfect everything without taking one dmg for the whole run. I removed the regret at the last shop as curse was not possible (and i was so scared that it will kill me with a bad turn). I didn't take the bites (too scared that it will mess up too much my deck that was not very perfect at the end). Miss overkill for 4 hp and couldn't make combo neither. But nice run !

Pauper, 4 collectors and combo, perfected everything. Skipped Bites, didn't go for 50 cards, had a very efficient deck with lots of draw power, 0 cost cards and discard synergy. It wasn't the best for the score but it was very fun to play.

1384 -- lots of discard and shiv salvos with an upgraded FInisher was super chain kill death fun, though glad I took Ornamental Fan to add block. Only just scraped a Perfect on final boss to make sure I didn't repeat yesterday's ignominy. Ten minutes of hell (21 dmg? Exactly 21 Block! 7x4 dmg? 28 Block! And so on, sheesh) as I switched from Blade Fanning to using Pocketwatch to make sure I had defensive card draw, sneaked out two Powers while he was transforming. Reserved Terror for second phase. Only went for Highlander, which meant I could shop my way to I Like Shiny; Pauper; Librarian (exchanged too many cards for +2 Max HP); just missed Combo when I tried to orchestrate it with potions; missed Overkill; no speed bonus; avoided Curses today, only saw 4 anyway. Champion (8), Beyond Perfect. That'll do me.

I kept my deck smallish so the discard strategy would work. didn't' try for highlander though cause i wanted to try for curses but not be overwhelmed by them. but also only managed 2 collectors. rough luck!

this was a wierd run. I perfected everything but enden up with a mediocre score. I went for a discard deck with terror scaling the dmg. The RNG was different for some reson cuz i didnt get wing boots, my first curse was offered on the late act 2. went for pauper, got light speed and 35 cards. Happy easter.

i don't get it sometimes ... build a discard deck and breezed through the game until the awakened then whatever i did there was turn where i couldn't defend. Replayed that hundred times and then gave up. But even with perfecting the final boss i would have been miles of the top. Ok missed curses by one and only 6 collectors but i expected a much better score :)

Normally I don't do these runs after I've watched them, unless it looks really fun. However, I'm curious what was the relic in the Book event and what if you went for Highlander.

I decided to take "Wraith form" and "Envenom". Easily ran through all acts. But forced to reload once at final boss. Also i got 5 Collector bonuses and 3-4 triplets. I have got the Book neither. Final score was poor btw.

Yeah I suspect you need to get Curses and more collector bonuses to get a higher score. What's your steam name so I can add it to the Friends mod?
