No shoes is very boho. Its influences are Mediterranean, south Asian, folk, Romani, Native American and South American cultures. A mish mash first popularised in the early twentieth century with artists in France. Think flowy, natural fabrics, layered, patterns like the paisley, flowers, earth tones, natural gem stones, mixed metals. I don’t think any of them go it. The ‘hippie’ movement was influenced by it but also art nouveau.

Not disagreeing just adding to your point, incorporating Romani influences into Boho fashion is steeped in controversy. I can’t speak for other cultures only my own, but my understanding of the Bohemian style is that the Romani influences were pulled in due to ethnic mischaracterisation and is widely considered cultural appropriation. The same goes for hippy style! But of course, it is entirely possible to create a fabulous Boho look without being offensive, simply by choosing to exclude traditionally Romani elements such as coin belts and hair ribbons
