I know this is an older video but I wanted to let you know that this planner/notebook mold makes amazing signs too. Using one side turned horizontally.. after finishing put a piece of tape over a few of the holes and then add a little UV resin or 2 part resin to fill them in. Later on add a chain or twine or ribbon to hang it for a great sign. ~~I do the same with Christmas ornaments ..plug the hole with UV as above and then put them in coaster molds and add a contrasting color. Or sand off the hole if it’s an attached extra hole that’s for hanging.. then add it to another mold and continue on. I made some fantastic snowflake coaster this way at Christmas.. the hole was part of the snowflake so I taped the backside and dripped in a few drops of the same color resin. In the coaster mold - I put a layer of clear & pushed the snowflake in, after it cured I added a layer of a contrasting color in & around, fill to the top. Everybody has raved about them 🤩 ~~ Also, on the alphabet keychains.. for easy sanding in the hard to reach areas I made ‘specialty’ sanding tools by glueing sandpaper to a tongue depressor, popsicle stick, and tiny wood dowels in 2 or 3 grits each. Made a teeny tiny one over a long metal toothpick. E6000 a piece of sandpaper on each side of the sticks and around the dowels.. makes it easier to get in & sand the smaller places like S curves or inside of Ds, Bs etc. ~~Thanks for sharing your beautiful art pieces! Wouldn't sticking the butterflies to the mold like that make it so when you took them out their sticky backing would be exposed since no resin would get underneath?
