Hey Kevin, please note that these videos you've done are amazing. I'm just getting back on the ice myself and they've been incredibly helpful. The only thing I've been wanting to still hunt down is what is the best way to transfer. I cannot help but wonder if some company could create something to make the move from the chair to the bucket and back to be easier. Either way, I plan to spend way more time with your videos and I wanted to send a sincere thank you for the level of detail, effort and passion you've put into them. I'm going for a Razor myself, until I know I've dialed things down like you've suggested, even though I want to take a big risk to go for the Blizzard. I'm going to suggest to Unique Inventions to link to this video of yours. Again, however, thank you. Keep looking after yourself too my friend. I appreciate you sharing your struggles on your site. Cheers man.

Hey Mr. B, thanks so much! What injury are you? Are you a para? We have a friend, Gord Bollert, who is in his 60's, is a para, and is an incredible example of grit, determination, and ingenuity about adapting his wheelchair and sled to make transfers easier. Shoot me an email with more info if you get a chance. info@playsledgehockey.com Cheers! #Buttdown

Pretty clear I need to get out of beginning sled as soon as possible. But this video is really helpful in shelling me understand a benchmark, where I’m at now. There is a lot I can do with sled I have also.

Yep, keep moving the blades in closer as much as you can until you find the sweet spot!

Hey Kevin great videos was wondering if you could do any videos involving goalie, so proper sled/placement like this one, getting up and down as a goalie, movement as goalie etc as I recently started playing goalie and love it however... I find goalie coaching and direction lacking and hard to find...I know you don’t play goal so if the videos aren’t doable any direction I can be pointed in would be fantastic I’m from Calgary Alberta Canada

Kevin I know this video is old but I've got a few question I have Cerebral Palsy and am going to be playing my first season of sledge hockey heres my issue I can walk but I have a huge amount of back pain when I sit for a long time do they allow goalies who can walk run normal goalie pads and stand if sitting causes them pain? or do I have to play in a sled?
@KevinRempel_4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you have to play in a sled.

Nice video bro. Can you also create a video on how to shoot effectively and how( wrist shot, slap shot , etc.)
@KevinRempel_7 жыл бұрын
You bet. It's recorded... scheduled to be released a little bit later my friend - after a few more fundamental videos first. :)

Kevin Rempel okay thanks.. I've been searching on KZbin on how to lift the puck but I still can't find any that would actually teach me to lift step by step, effectively.

Great job on the video and quite enjoyed it. I am doing the game tomorrow (Friday February 21st as well as both games on the weekend at the Richmond Oval. All three games are against the USA, so should be fun for everyone. If you watch, enjoy the game and send me a note on Twitter and let me know. twitter.com/Sportswave
