I tried this today. I didn’t do as neat of a job as you did, I don’t have a fresh re-twist, but it looks good. This will definitely be one of my go to styles. I put the ponytail up in another holder for a shower and that even looks like a nice up do! Thank you so much. I’m trying to come out of my lazy loc looks (re-twist and let it hang). I only get my locs styled when done by a loctician. I want to become my own loctician!

I've used it on my daughter's hair before she had locs and it did a great job. I don't care too much for perfect edges and have never used gels or creams on my locs. I just spritz my edges with water, spray with my oil mixture, and tie it down. I won't tell you not to use edge control because if it works for you then go for it. Just make sure you cleanse your locs to get rid of build-up deashanify

how do you keep your colored locs healthy?

I honestly just use my oil mixture to moisturize my locs every other day (very light spritz). And as you can see, I let my roots grow out as much as I can stand it before I color again. My last touch up was in August, 5 months now. I try not to color too often as this will weaken my locs. Oh, and most importantly, I put a little protein in my oil mixture to strengthen my colored locs Wen Puzee

GrizzleRocsLocs The last time I colored was about two yeas ago I love color but always fear tis will weaken my hair. I also have a spritz I concocted which includes a bit of rosemary, may I ask what do you add for the protein? BTW love your updos and rolls, they work well for me since I don't retwist in the winter. I use Hask placenta. It comes in a small glass or plastic cylinder found in beauty supply stores. I'm glad my rolls and updos work for you, it's perfect for non-retwisted roots.You have a great day also.

Also, keep your locs moisturized. I color my locs about every 6 months so I won't over process my hair.
