To get the nape area smooth and taught- lean your head the whole way back - chin pointed to the ceiling - as you brush and put in your first pony. When you go back to normal position, the nape will be pulled tight AF like the sides. ;)

Thanks this is helpful! The way you stop the back getting saggy is to tilt your head back (as in bring your chin up) then you brush up and snatch up your ponytail in the elastic. When you then bring your head back up the back will be super tight. Hope that helps !
