Recently i lost my sleep for a couple of weeks..that was a post corona issue for me. I really struggled to sleep. I cried silently looking into the dark.. Even it didn't came in the day too. I lost my mental peace. That was the time, i realized how lucky i was as i slept overtime and my parents scolded me for that. Sleep is divine...lucky are the ones who have good sleep. The time we don't realize ourselves. Purely Unconscious... It's very pure. Finally i used to listen to sleep meditation like soft music, stories. The thing which gained my sleep back was listening to every breath i take and slowly fell asleep. I wish everyone have good sleep n mental peace.

Very true Ahaana🤗 We usually hear sleep as a luxury and people consider it as a sign of laziness. Especially taking a power nap in day time makes you more active. But what we usually hear '. I don't miss my sleep even if I have an exam next day... My mom always make fun of me for being like this because normally almost everyone will be stressed out because of exam but even though I will be stressed I don't miss my sleep and it is one of the most enjoyable thing for me ever... And I too gets irritated when someone disturbs me during my sleep... Almost everyone around me make fun of me for sleeping so peacefully even I'll be in a lot of troubles but I am really proud of myself because sleep makes us refreshed and gives a new hope... I love sleep and I think it loves me too because it never leaves me... If I am really stressed sleeping Duration is more than any normal day but I think it gives us very refreshed feel and I think it's one of the most important thing we ever need in our life 😌

Hi Ahaana, i don't know whether u read this, but to be honest, i am really happy to see you sharing about your perspective on sleep. It is rare to see influential people sharing about such an important topic, especially during this covid time. Sleep is something nowadays very much avoided. As u said it is a charger for our body. Inadequate sleep quality and quantity is a major problem for so many of us. Not only does it leave us feeling bad, it is also detrimental to out overall health. Poor sleep can lead to everything from mood swings to blood sugar imbalance, hormonal imbalances, weight gain, poor memory and much more. During this covid time, especially if getting vaccination, it is really important to get deep sleep before and after vaccination. Healing and repairing, everything happens during our deep sleep. Blue light exposure from gadgets should be avoided atleast 1 hour before bed because it interfere with melatonin production (this hormone needed for sleep). I am really happy u made video on this.

I totally agree with respecting the other person's sleep..i had so much issues back at college hostel, wherein they would just slam the door and come inside making a fuss all together and making calls while being in room... I remember me crying to sleep and praying to god as I would need to wake early for college and lot to do..One must need good manners with regard to this as well 👍

Most relevant topic to be considered in this current scenario..most of the people are found to be suffering from insomnia may be as a part of post covid syndrome or our alteted unhealthy lifestyles and sleep schedules..you have beautifully narrated ahaana..As a doc we dont get enough sleep and this pandemic has been a blow..and i m also sufferi g from reduced sleep may be as a part of post covid syndrome..so its really important to give such importance to sleep whenever possible because of the harm caused by sleep deprivation..stay safe..be healthy..and ahaana has done a good job ..keep spreading awareness and positivity through out..😊🙌
