I fell in love when I heard my first post rock song, it was 2013 or early 2014. And I was listening to The Way Home. You've been one of my favorite artists ever since, and my favorite genre has become post rock because of you. Thank you for your influence on this genre and your songs.

My First was Mogwai's "Ex-Cowboy" ,(back in 1998!) though i had no clue whatsoever there was any such thing called "Post-Rock" back then...and then,heard Sigur Ros (),Explosions In The Sky "the only time we were alone" in 2003-2004 ,but it wasn't until 2015,that I really got into any of the other Post stuff,so I've been exploring the depths ever since,after taking a deep dive into what exists Musically in this Scene.

I first listened to The Way Home when I was a young teenager, along with other tracks of yours. They helped me get through some dark, dark times in my life. They appealed to something deep inside of me with such an authentic, truthful connection. Nothing felt as cathartic as listening to those songs. They were like a medicine that I took until my pain subsided. Now I am going through some tough external and internal battles once again, and came back to The Way Home. This song followed afterward, and the it feels like exactly what I'm feeling. It feels like it describes so truthfully what I'm feeling at this moment, and how I feel like expressing myself externally, but in an internal way. Then I looked at the comments, and the description, and the release date of the song. It's a little surreal the timing of the thing. I can't thank you enough for providing these songs that I literally grew up with, that accompanied me throughout so many battles and struggles. The songs feel like they persevered with me through time, and I hope you do too.
