Sleep, Holy Child from the John W. Peterson cantata Night of Miracles

I first sang this as a little 5 or 6 year old girl, dressed as an angel, choking the microphone stand from the nerves, and had never sung it again. Now, as a full grown adult, the meaning of the song as well as the emotion and nerves that I felt as a child, come flooding back and I sing “Sleep, Holy Child” with tears in my eyes.
Praise be to our God for his sacrifice through Jesus Christ our Lord.
