Just 160km (100 miles) north of London it’s a quick drive up the motorway to reach Studley Castle. It's even easier if you’re situated in Birmingham where it’s just a half hour drive away, and even less from the quintessentially British Cotswolds at 20 minutes so your relaxing weekend can begin right away.

Stayed in room 84 , my advice is take your own pillows as they are like bags of cement.

its a warner hotel children are not allowed which is fair enough the castle itself it beautiful however from studley villiage looking at the castle the newest part of the castle ruins the landscape no real thought went into the design it looks like a travel lodge hotel . i live 10 mins from the castle and drive past daily never liked the new part hopefully the trees will grow and hide it

There's plenty of fun places and luxury properties to accommodate families. I personally like the adults only model, and gives adults an opportunity to participate in activities if they wish. You could see it as a chance to be a kid again, or just have some time to yourself
