This is so perfect, it’s like the universe steers me to you Sarah. I’m in the epilepsy monitoring unit in my city hospital for my first time worrying about being able to sleep overnight and knowing that the intent of my visit is to have seizures and investigate them. It’s been so stressful but this video will truly help ❤

Sarah this was beautiful as always! I appreciate that you were very specific about using the Buddhist swastika and that it is a peaceful symbol. But I think you should include a trigger warning in the description of this video and maybe a comment. There’s nothing wrong with using this version of the symbol to evoke peace but as a Jewish listener, hearing the word without warning pulled me right out of my relaxed state. I think a trigger warning of some kind letting people know that the word is used could help others like me prepare themselves for it. Thank you for all you do!

I think she could have said it’s not the holenkruetz if I am even spelling the German correctly for what yes the Nazis Called the swastika. Sorry if I spelled it wrong I am taking my first German class at university as a history major. But that might have help to explain that the swastika was not what the Nazi called the symbol you are talking about. They called it the hooked cross which is the English translation to the word I most likely misspelled. At least to go I a bit of history to clear up anyone being triggered or offended is nice. Yes you did have a good suggestion. I am happy that at least we got a explanation of the difference of this symbol. Saved us from listening to a history major distrust everyone’s peace.
