They need to go to Scotland to the island of arran and climb goatfell. I did it and I am twelve and it was quite hard so it will probably be hard for the younger kids but the view Is BEAUTIFUL!!! ten/ten recommend it

Lovely place, but if you wanted a historic city visit, Nördlingen, Dinkelsbühl, Rothenburg odT and Regensburg would all have been closer. (Plus a bunch of other cities as well. There is no shortage of them in Germany). I stay far away from Switzerland these days, it is sadly way too expensive for my budget.

When we traded houses with a German family when I was 18, on the way to the airport leaving, the host family took us to this little town in your video. Brings back lots of memories… there was a summer celebration going on but I was just done and tired and ready to be on the plane home so I didn’t enjoy it the way I should have.

I went to Switzerland on a family trip when I was a Jr. in high school in the winter! We stayed in Interlaken and took a day trip to Germany and France! We did not sleep in a barn! I did almost get hit by a train because it had a snow plow on the front that went over the yellow line on the platform! Room a train up the jungfraujoch and explored the ice cave!
