will you hold a stone in your heart if there's nothing to hold? it's the night that holds her close, nothing more, nothing more. my arms can't hold you, my eyes can't see you and I can't hear your voice now. there was a sun in my mind, a place for you to hide behind there was a light in the house we used to have, but now it's nothing but a romantic stream that flows out of you and inside of me romantic dreams, flowing out of you and inside of me

This video made me feel a lot of emotions David! Good work. It gave me those melancholy feelings you get when you are looking through a shoe box of old Polaroid pictures - little snap shots of the past. A bittersweet feeling.

When I watch this video makes me want to know how these young people in their lives in high school would now be, successful, famous, happy, funny how a video can get past the feeling that I know from somewhere, or that youth is something memorable and rewarding.

I just graduated high school yet while watching this I felt a very poignant sense of nostalgia even though this was probably shot in the late 80's...the melancholy feeling is also paired with a hopeful one and while this comment probably makes no sense at all, I just want to say this is a beautiful video paired with a beautiful song. This needs to be the official video for the song.

Its not that old dude. Its from a high school in the 80s & 90s. Highschoolers are like 13-20, so the oldest ones are 60 at most. All these folks are just middle aged. Maybe a few have died due to circumstances but in general most should still be alive.
@HelloMyNameIsShun113 жыл бұрын
Now there is a good amount of chill-wave out there today - but that under-lying arpeggiation played throughout the song combined with these vocals just tear me up inside. Undoubtedly reminds me of the early 90's (LFO's/YM-2612 chip) I get sucked back into that era while listening. My sister was in high school at the time so the fashion in this video is all too familiar - This should be the official video.

FYI, they're not dead. This was filmed in the late 80s and early 90s, making this under 40 years old. High school age is somewhere between 13 and 20 meaning everyone here is under 60. So while a few might have passed due to unfortunate events, you can safely assume most are alive, just middle aged.

Yeah but some people failed like 6 or 7 times before getting to high school back then, and then failed 3 or 4 times more in high school. You have to factor that in.

I just discovered this and am gagging all over it's amazement. Seriously, the song is more than just tones and sounds, it's heart and soul. It's energy and life. The video is even more pertinent than ever! I remember these days and it was like reliving a part of my life that I miss on a daily basis. That energy and time of music, society and culture was classic!. But one Question, not to be rude. Why isn't there a single black person at this school? It's all white and Asian.
