People are amazing and so different. I can't concentrate with background sounds . Guess we had too many decades with Sermons, talks, movies with no background distractions. I love listening to these, and I appreciate the work involved, BUT when I try to sleep with both talking and background sounds I wake up tired, grumpy an lacking good sleep. isn't life amazing?

@@StreamsOfScripture I would love more without the background distractions, My brain goes into PC loop, do not compute, when having to deal with sleep, soothing word of GOD, an rain,music, seas sound , wind all places I don't sleep well in. Are these recorded in twin track so that we could remove the sound for those who find it distracting???

I love this channel. The Lord knew this combination of music and voice would be a unique gift to me. Thank you Streams of Scripture. I know many of these verses by heart so it is easy for me to listen and understand. If a person is new to the Word I would recommend listening to the “voice only” version until the Word is etched into the heart. Blessings.

The music overrides the scripture. I think it should be half the volume. It’s almost like the Scriptures on the background. And I’m looking to listen to the Scriptures. I really like the eight hours. I was really happy to see the repeating of this book. Thank you so much.

I agree that the music is not the right rythm for the spoken voice. It rises and falls loud and quiet out of rythm with the spoken voice. It’s just random canned elevator mood music that randomly fades in and out. Music that is written for singing is always in sync with the natural rise and fall of the human voice and would be a better choice such as many of the hymns
