Sugar on the blood cells is a chemistry reference to drinking alcohol while carbon in the brain is a reference to inhalation (likely drugs). Makes the line “out Eden’s vices running through my veins” make a little more sense. In that context too, Aqua Regia being a corrosive acid could mean that the relationship and love he has for this person is the cause his self destruction by substance abuse. Vessel’s metaphors are crazyyy detailed and has sooo many meanings depending on who is trying to decipher them. Great reaction 💖

I took “Sugar on the blood cells, Carbon on the brain, out of Eden’s vices runnin’ through my veins.” To be referencing the consumption of alcohol but I’m not 100% convinced that explanation makes the most sense.

Sugar on the blood cells is glucose that causes a high carbon in the brain, causing dizziness. Aqua Regia Is an acid that desolves precious metals like gold (gold is highly used in circuit boards)

I went through all your ST reaction videos this morning and please keep going. I cannot say that I agree in all the interpretations with you, but it still had me wondering about different meanings of the words for different people. Notice that’s the lyrics say My love is an animal call cutting thru the darkness bouncing off the wall and then in Take me back to Eden there is an animal roar in the beginning calling thru the darkness and it’s bouncing off the walls. 😊This is purposeful. The details Vessel puts into these albums blow my mind. Worship 🖤

I love your insights. So many of us discovered ST and Vessel's word resonated deeply. The music has helped me heal more the last 10 months then I ever thought possible. The way he writes, so many lyrics can be about your relationship with yourself. I think you also mentioned thstbin your TMBTE reaction as well, there is a sobg on this album that isxwritten from the perspective of him talking to himself in the mirror.
