At first I didn’t like your quarter note crash ride section because it stuck out to me like a sore thumb but after listening to it a few times I think I finally get it. I did try my piccolo snare actually! But I found it a bit too harsh in the verses to be fair. Comes down to personal preference, but once I saw them live I was also like 'damn this guy CRANKS his snare up' hahaha

Hey Josh! I tried counting it in the beginning as a 3/4, but because of the many changes in feel I just essentially stopped counting and started taking in the song as a whole haha. The main riff definitely has a polyrhythmic feel to it which is tricky to get down at first! Once I got that down the rest came to me a bit easier

I honestly didn't really practice the song with time signatures in mind haha. I think it's mostly a 3/4 time signature, alternated with some 4/4 time signatures in between, depending on how you count it
