The writing about Tom has always been uneven when it's about him and his life. This one borders on absurdity. He started with being gleeful about the prof's wife being hurt, which seemed to disgust Danny and Zoe. 40 minutes later his consience awoke... WTH?

Me too. My dearest husband gone to bed early, he's a busy orthopedic surgeon. My animals 2 dogs & 1 kitty cuddled up and I am also enjoying an episode of spooks😂thank so much for uploading episodes of this great series. British do it brilliantly 👏. 5:58

The awful part of this fictional drama, preposterous as it is, is that I believe every word. The intelligence community (community, aren't they kind of themselves) has done much worse to innocents in the real world.

At 2:10 Look guys! It's the Senate himself! I cannot believe Emperor Palps AKA Ian McDiarmid was in this show lol. Also there's a big irony here in this episode as Chancellor Palpatine from ROTS would said "They ask you to spy on me aren't they?" And bam! This episode here is what MI5 is doing to him right now asked to have him back to spy/infiltrate this terror group.

Tom's better off. If he ever gets over the PTSD...Odd how he enjoyed the crash and burn of the couple, then got struck by conscience. Dual personality blowout.

You misunderstood. He isn't enjoying "the crash and burn of...the couple". In order for the older man, a sleeper agent, to do his part successfully (and not get himself and others killed, or alert suspicion) he has to be Convincing! And that includes convincing his own family. Tom is smiling because the old man IS very convincing, and they have a decent chance of persuading the terrorists that he is "the real deal".
