Hows the XK8 dash and AC system working with the LS swap??? I was thinking of doing the same minus the turbo I'm an all NA guy plan on keeping the stock diff. Awesome build by the way, I'm sticking with a Brick Shithouse built 4L65 trans that's what I do... remember the the stock Jag bolt pattern is not the same as a chevy don't fall for it you will bent the studs, Thanks..

It’s sad how the 4l60e has such a bad rep mainly because of incompetent builders. It’s not rocket science on how to make them live. Ever notice how one will go 150,000 plus miles from when it was new but then you bring it to a Trans shop and your LUCKY if you get 50,000 miles out of it when rebuilt? And I’m referring to a stock vehicle too. It’s even worse for modded vehicles. It’s not the Trans for the most part, it’s lack of knowledge from who’s building it. I speak from experience. I can make these things live and not cost 3, 4 or 5 grand to do it.

If it’s built correctly it will hold. I have several in faster cars than on this channel, holding up for years. Most trans shops building the 4l60e only know how to build it stock but still don’t last as long as it did from the factory.
