Manuel Legris is my favorite of all of them. His technique, his flow, his obvious enjoyment of what he is doing, the way he rises into the air, unlike others who seem to throw themselves. I just had the most enjoyment watching Legris. He isn't showy or fiery, he flows like a river with strength and grace.

I like Legris rushing on stage in pursuit of Aurora... the others just show up "here I am to do the variation" And this variation is where Nureyev's choreography gets too much for me. To many steps :( It should be a joyous event but the dancers don't have any time for projection between pirouettes, jumps and rond de jambe. Nureyev almost manages to project joy, IMO, during the diagonal, but in the later version he's put pirouettes in-between jumps...

Robert Bolle was Perfect!

Vainqueur Legris. The best. technic perfect. French Style perfect. Bolle trop lent. Too havy too slow. Hilaire trop forcé. too hardGanio. Very beautiful but no so perfect tecnic as Legris and a littel slower also as Bolle. But not soo havyNoureev....... seems older beside the other. Not same generation . Can't be compare.
