hi Chris!!!! may I ask you I have the polychromos 120set but I can free the tempera effect especially with the night sky like you are.the lines in the sky are a problem.

I tried Prismas and all I got was wax bloom, how do you avoid this? I see you adding a lot of colors but no wax bloom...beautiful

Mickey Lavoie Hi Mickey, My suggestion would be to use a lighter touch. However it seems some people have trouble with wax-bloom and some do not. I am beginning to wonder if it is a particular “batch ” of the pencils. Mine are almost two years old and cause no problem unless I get too heavy handed.

I usually tend to keep the tips of my Prisma pencils very long and sharp and I tend to work downward on my paper. I'm wondering if this is one of the reasons I am having such a hard time with blending. I notice that your pencil tips are small. Does this help with getting a smooth texture? P.S. You can no longer get this color book on Amazon, although I hear a U.S. version may be released this year. I'm dying to get my hands on it.
