I would predict the Aggies to go 8-4 with losses to LSU and Texas and two losses out of the games against Notre Dame, Florida, Missouri and Auburn. I think that would be a pretty good first year for Elko. If everything goes wrong they might go 6-6 but I think A&M is better than most people think and that’s coming from a Longhorns fan.

The aggies had a 12 year head start on Texas in joining the SEC with a massive opportunity to elevate their football program and surpass Texas as the premier football program in the state of Texas, but they fall way short of where they should have been by now. I said it in 2014: Johnny Manziel was the peak of the aggie football program. I did enjoy seeing TexAgs in full meltdown when Texas hired Schlossnagle away from the aggies, aggie alum were crying for A&M to leave the SEC for the Big10 🤣🤣🤣
