True, it will definitely start a trend of high-level recruits within the Lone Star State STAY within the state of Texas and go to Austin or College Station, and not leave to play at Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, etc.
@chillxxx2412 ай бұрын
@@markavaldez11None of what you said is true. Texas kids don’t want to ride the bench. They are always looking out of state whether it is OU, LSU, Oregon, Bama, OSU… Those really only benefits Texas and OU. Notice the didn’t add Clemson or FSU. That would have watered down recruiting in those states and states bordering them. They wouldn’t have allowed it.

I would predict the Aggies to go 8-4 with losses to LSU and Texas and two losses out of the games against Notre Dame, Florida, Missouri and Auburn. I think that would be a pretty good first year for Elko. If everything goes wrong they might go 6-6 but I think A&M is better than most people think and that’s coming from a Longhorns fan.

Not even natty or natty appearances, how many top 5 finishes has Aggy had in the last 50 years? This year, they are relying on Weigman to stay healthy with a new OC and system that likes to run the QB. The Oline is very suspect too. Playing ND and Florida will tell the direction of their season.

The aggies had a 12 year head start on Texas in joining the SEC with a massive opportunity to elevate their football program and surpass Texas as the premier football program in the state of Texas, but they fall way short of where they should have been by now.
