Not exactly a muscle car but I was gifted a 1978 Buick LeSabre as my first car. This works. We didn't have many opportunities for hail in the pan handle of Texas, but I remember this sound and can smell the old car, not bad, just not as bad but as nostalgic.

Good sleep video. But, actually sleeping in a car during a hailstorm is not always a good idea. Several years ago, my city had a hailstorm that smashed out a lot of vehicle and dwelling windows. The hail wasn't all that large either, I don't think. But, it did a bang-up job of destruction anyway.
