I'm 70 yrs old. I want to get a cargo van and convert it into a living quarters but finances are not available to be able to do this. Been watching KZbin channels for years. You prove how where there is a will, there is a way. Hopefully, I'll be able to live out my dream before I leave this earth, Lord willing. Sure have enjoyed all your inventions. You are so smart. I am in my 30s and a very broke single woman. I am constantly at risk of losing housing and nowadays there are no protections! I live alone in an apartment and spend 50%-60% of my income on rent. It will not change either, it only gets worse by the year. I will tell you though that you can find a good van and retrofit it for under $3000. If you're patient, you can finish what you need to do for another thousand. My 98 dodge ram van was $1800, I put another $800. Since I've replaced the starter, battery, tires and lines... Which has been another $500 or so. I bought it 2 years ago. That's where I'm at right now. Just found a fold down bed for $50 on CL and I'm waiting until the snow melts to install it. I have 3 Collie dogs so I won't be able to live in it permanently but I plan to vacation this summer. If you have a dream you can still do it. :)
