Nice trip. Reminds me of my first campout. I woke up with frost on my sleeping bag. It was an old flannel lined canvas bag. I stayed warm. But my boots froze. 😂😂😂

Ever tried bamboo based thermal socks? I'm intrigued that you always aim to leave as little evidence of your presence as possible. Many bushcraft folk don't do that.

When you pull back at full draw put your hand on your cheek that way you can see completely down your arrow and exactly where you want it to go think of it as your trigger on a compound try it a couple times it took me years to get a recurve to actually hit target but it worked for me

Everything you said was right I shot archery when I was thirteen years old out of 300 kids and I came in third place

@@lynettescott682 been doing the same but a little bit younger when I started I hunted for a while with a compound but it wasn't really the same feeling as a recurve

Hey wild boy I was just wondering what happened to the one that you were building on where you cut your finger you're not doing that no more maybe the weather's too cold and it won't permit you to get back to me when you can

With your arrows landing wrong, it could be in your release, I would recommend u buy a trigger release, it’s a lot more uniform and you’ll get better results hopefully

I'll bet you put those thermal inserts into your socks and gloves. I hear some socks come with batteries. Keeping hands and feet warm is a real must when you're roughing it in cold weather.

Please, keep your sleeping bag upwind of and well away from the fire and sparks. People or, at least children can be killed from a burning sleeping bag.

Dont hang onto your bow so tight. I dont even grip it I just have it in the V between my thumb and palm. And my fingers are loosely rapped in front to catch the bow after release. Also you looked really stressed out at full draw the bow might be a bit heavy on the pull for you. LOL also as Byron Ferguson would say "Be the arrow" NDR
