during childbirth they have you lay on your back during delivery, which doesn't seem natural to me. it seems that the right way would be to squat or deliver on either of your sides with a leg lifted. wouldn't laying on the back complicate things, like blood pressure of the baby and mom? especially if she is in labor and highly stressed? which may be why they say your baby is stressed and want to do a c-section. my left side is killing me in the morning because i'm consciously thinking "blood flow' all night long. so i try to stay on my left but i sleep on my right when i absolutely can't take the left side anymore. thank goodness for this advice because i can't continue in that position for hours anymore. i try to stay on the left and tilt forward or slightly backward to take the pressure off of my aching hip. this video has eased my mind, so thanks.

I'm glad I found this bc i was tortured sleeping on my left side. However I don't experience heartburn on my left side and while i would rather sleep on my right, I always get heartburn. Sleeping on my back is comfortable too. One night I tried my best to stay on my left side The entire time I woke up to a completely numb left side I asked myself how is this healthy?? So I have to just switch it up but I was So concerned.

My baby is 1 yr old now...but I wish you Well bc I remember those days so clearly. I remember thinking that I couldn't take it anymore but day by day I would and it wouldn't get any better but that particular problem did go away just know that after u have your baby that everything goes back to normal..I'll say I started to feel completely better by week 3 post pregnancy so you have something to look forward to...and when you see your little one it'll be all worth it. You'll see.

Ive been sleeping on my left side with my current pregnancy due to a previous stillbirth, in which i did used to sleep a lot on my right side..But due to this, i sleep so uncomfortable forcing myself to sleep on the left always, i wake up with my ear hurting from the weight of my head, my left arm is always numb, and my shoulder feels sore every morning..not to mention i always have to place a towel next to my cheek because i drool a lot😫 Such a struggle! But I hope its all worth it in the end

I kept having my blood pressure drop down which my blood pressure runs low 86/56 one week then back a ok 👌🏻 then I started having it go up two weeks later to 100/65 with floaters in the eyes 👀 for months now that I sleep on my left side I still have the floaters occ but the blood pressure is normal for me. When I would wake up on my back I knew something wasn’t right could what u was talking about be the cause.

To be honest I don't follow the book I sleep where I am comfortable. I listen to my body. I'm 36 weeks 3 days and I am comfortable both my left, right. I'm not comfortable on my back, my baby girl gives me hard time if I am on my back.
