@DarkEgg5 I agree, though some of Damien Rice's music is a bit odd, if you look at the lyrics. But don't get me wrong, I love Damien's music. Nor am I bashing on it. How about we just call him a magnificant talent, with a passionate message that Cat Steven's really wasn't about. Glen Hansard's song writing hasan intent to purvey a feeling, not just some Cat in the cradle with a silver spoon over and over again. No offense to Cat or his fan's....The comparison is like apples and orange's. :) I can't say enough about Glen, and my inspiration's as an artist are the Vai's and Nuno's...never the less this guy has broadened my horizon's.
