You always hated those nightmares, mostly because, it was always hard to fall back to sleep after one. You start to cry, trying not to wake the copy ninja, who was sleeping by you. Dispite your best efforts to keep quiet, Kakashi hears you crying. He takes you into his arms, cuddling you, and showing you the love that your horrible ex failed to show/give you. “I’ll never hurt you, y/n I love you.” Kakashi whispers kissing your cheek, and pulling closer, so you can her his heartbeat. You felt safe, happy, but mostly loved.
