Is it though? I'm sorry, but I've been really trying to like this new stuff because everyone's out here like, "Yeah, SWS finally back to their old sound," but like, I don't hear it. Yeah, it's heavier, but it lacks literally a single ounce of the creativity their older stuff contained, and lyrically, it's miles behind even Madness. These last two singles just sound like they ripped a few tracks from the old Warped Tour bands and released them after we've left the Warped era.

Devon Odgers Couldn’t agree more. I still love that they’re back to being post-hardcore, but instrumentally and lyrically it lacks. When they first started they were creative and structurally complex. BUT we’re only 2 songs in, so that could change. I still love these two new singles though, I’m glad the boys are back.

David Castro SWS were never structurally complex. They started as a pretty straight forward post hardcore act, went pop, and now are seemingly back to a somewhat post hardcore sound (have to listen to the whole album to see if it all has this sound to it.) But complex is something they never were

Honestly, I’m guessing Gossip may be best thing the band could’ve done imo. Brandon Fairse well, majority of screaming from their debut and Let's Cheers were recorded by Brandon and Jesse who are no longer in the band. Both dudes have insane screaming but people only see Kellin because he's been doin the shit live that it strained his voice. I bet he will scream more on this one.
