This song is amazing. I feel it's sort of a continuation of their song, "A Trophy Father's Trophy Son". In that song, it's about not having the presence of a parental figure with you. You wonder what the problem is and can only assume that it's you. In this song, it's as if you fast forwarded into the future. You're at that point where we know that the things we've experienced are now in the past. It's coming to that point in which we are getting closer to becoming parents or "teachers". But we wonder what is the best way to raise and teach the next generation that we're bringing into this twisted world. We refer back to what we faced in the past and use that as something for our future. The hardest part of it, is figuring out what was good/bad and right/wrong. This song talks about thinking for the future, and that is something I really applaud.

This song really touches my honestly. I can relate so much with him and his life and how his parents did him wrong , that is definetly something I have in common with Kellin. I know when I have kids I know I'll never treat then the way my parents treated me, I want my kids to feel loved and that is what sleeping with sirens talks about in this song. I just love this song it's really touching and relatable for me. He's so inspiring .

I cry every time I listen to this song, because I've lived this. I'm not even seen as an adult yet and though I don't have children, I had to become the motherly figure of my siblings. But now that I live with my Aunt and Uncle who foster me and I know my siblings are in the safe hands of my family, I am FINALLY free now. Kellin Quinn is my hero. My mom has been sick for a while now and any time I get down all I have to do is listen to their music and I feel better. Sleeping with sirens are literally one of my favourite bands and I can tell you that this album is great. I'll agree that it's maybe not as amazing as their previous albums but it's still good. Don't worry guys, they're experimenting and trying new things, hopefully their next album will sound more like their old music... But they tried something new with this album to see what it's like. The beginning about the father is so true for me. my dad always yelled and called me fat. But he tought me to give money to people who need help on the streets.
