Its 2021 and the person I was closest to for my whole life (my older sibling) just disowned me. They told me I needed to learn how to be on my own and figure my own life out. I had just asked them for help because my friends have been leaving me. I've never felt more alone, and this song has brought me so many tears and just another step closer to recovery. I remember hearing for the first time three years ago and liking it, but not understanding this pain, and now I do. Thank you so much Sleeping With Sirens for helping me move on and start to heal. Dealing with the same situation, man. I'm a teenage Aspie (Asperger's) who also loves Sirens. (I GREATLY admire their lead guitarist as a beginner/novice. He's flipping AMAZING.) My family has tried telling me to "grow up" but they don't explain how in a way I understand. I'm behind my age group and it sucks. I don't normally comment, but your comment really clicked/resonated in a.... really crazy way. Once a Sirens' fan, always one (and even if you aren't a fan, we're all people at the end of the day.) Family ain't always the Blood Line, man.

@@randomhuman1275 I'm suprised someone replied to my comment. It was really only meant for me to get things out there so it wasn't bottled in me anymore. I'm glad it resonated with you though. Im a teen with autism and I've never been able to fully grasp emotions. I always end up saying and doing the wrong thing which gets me into situations like the one I'm in right now. But the family thing, and them not understanding what your going through, sadly is normal. My family doesn't understand me either and I've always been called a drama queen because I didn't learn how to express my emotions correctly until I was about 8 or 9. I've always been a bit behind my age group as well, in the emotional aspect anyways. It's not something you can just grow up from. I've learned to mask my autism well enough to function within society with little to no issue. That doesn't make it any less hard and painful. As for the guitar thing, keep it up. I've been playing bass guitar like their bassist for 5 years now and I love it so much I started to learn guitar about 2 years ago, although it is different and I'd say a little harder. Music just has a way of expressing how I feel better than I can. And as for being a Siren's fan, I've been one for about six years now. There music has always been something to fall back on, especially now. This song especially, though.

@@cieraearley1743 If you like Sirens, you might like a Rock n' Roll band called Palaye Royale. They've got a song called F With My Head that can really sum up the confusion of autism/Asperger's. Their album Boom Boom Room Side B is short, but it's expressive lyrically, and has a lot of blues kinds of riffs. (They're coming to my state in July somewhere, I think.) As for Sirens, a lot of How It Feels to Be Lost songs are relatable, and the riffs in Agree To Disagree are crazy fun to play. (This is crazy talking with someone similar....)

@@cieraearley1743 That's crazy ("Bruh" moment, to explain it precisely.) Black Veil Brides has some amazing riffs, although the fanbase is apparently toxic. I've been into a bit of Metallica and the lighter edge of Pantera (can't do Dimebag's harmonics, yet. I've played a year and a half.) There's also a band called Villain Of The Story that's got a very intense sound. If you have snap and you're not creeped out by this, I can add you real quick (if you do, delete the comment after, so as not to broadcast info to the world.) You seem like a decent person that won't go complete psycho/stalker on a random person.

This song has come at the perfect time for me. Me and my ex broke up recently, it was a amazing relationship, but my anxiety and depression has been so bad for a couple of years and it ended up making me not able to leave the house so she would have times when I was unable to see her and eventually this was making us both unhappy, she wasn't able to see me much and the pressure of trying to leave the house and see her was making me worse. We still loved each other the feelings didn't change but it just all become to much and she needed to be happy and so did I and unfortunately i had to let her go and let her move on. I didn't want to keep making empty promises and I cared to much about her happiness, I kinda forgot about mine. I'm still in love with her and I miss her so much. She was the right person, but it wasn't the right time. This song speaks to me so much. I feel a little closer to closure thanks to this. Loving this album
