I really appreciate how Nik wasn't afraid to go to some pretty crazy places with this EP. Because the music on this EP is so much the result of his own personal journey with sound and music over the years, I don't think it's immediately the most accessible thing to listen to- originality and novelty quite overpowered familiarity. When we would buy music on physical media, if we heard something that was almost too far removed from what we could understand, even after putting it away at some point we'd more than likely feel compelled to give it another listen as our music libraries were smaller and we had much more invested in them. Speaking for myself, some of my favorite movies and albums are the ones I didn't know how to parse when I first encountered them. I think this EP could be like that as well, but I hope in the current sea of quickly consumed media work that asks a bit more of the listener can still find an audience.

I do wonder if you're onto something with the 'farewell' observation. Could be a farewell to Noisia, but there may be more to it as Nik does subtly infuse his stories/emotions into his songwriting.

noisia have got the ""closer"" i dont think any of the 3 will strech it so long , i think that tune adds to the farewell of the ep
