I have had the issues you noted as well as a few others but the most intrusive are thoughts at bed time that never would slow down. This sound tract... and a melatonin cocktail with Gaba, lavender extract - does the job for me. It has taken years to get things I needed but now I have a reasonable amount of sleep most of the time. @Deneio Boyle: Why not? I realize that rainfall differs by season, depending upon where on earth you live. But here near the Great Lakes, we have quite a lot of rain in the summertime. That’s how everything stays so green and the agricultural crops grow so well in this part of the world. On summer nights we can hear the rain better, because our screen windows are open at least partway. It’s a very peaceful sound! Rain is associated with summertime just as much as the opposite- snow is associated with wintertime.

I have trouble getting into deep sleep, I usually only get about 20 minutes of it a night.
