Sleepy little spotted man wakes up for a day of mischief and makes weird noises. He isn't always this calm! When he's groggy he act more like a domesticated cat. .

To everyone commenting and asking about where to buy one, I think you are missing the point of the video. These animals are amazing but still exotic and you have to do a lot of research Before you purchase one. They may look like a cat and sometimes act like a cat, but there are so many more layers to their personality. If you are asking her where she got hers, then you have not done enough research yet. She does these videos to show that these animals are not bad or dangerous, but not to promote random people buying one and not giving the proper care. So please, do some research. They are Amazing, but require a lot of work so see if they are right for you.

They are right for me and I did so much research and I can’t find any place to buy it from. I just want to know how to get my hands on one.

I love Genets! If I had one as a pet, I would treasure him like the child I never had, (Lol I don't have kids in the first place because I'm not old enough) He's so adorable though!

These animals are amazing but require specific care. They are for stable individuals who own their own home only. Genets are one household only animals and are prone to stress. They don't like new people, new animals, new homes, pretty much anything new. They have a tendency to self mutilate if not cared for properly. Once you get a Genet you cant move or rearrange your furniture. They require alot of responsibility and commitment. If your under 30 don't get one, if you have kids don't get one, if you don't own your own home don't get one.

Reminds me a lot of my pet ferret. This adorable little thing looks almost like a cross between a jungle cat and a ferret!

Is being the owner of a Genet a difficult or demanding task? Is it anything like owning a fennic fox, in comparison? :3
@genetsandjazz9 жыл бұрын
I think a fennec fox would be a better pet. My particular genet is hyper, neurotic, and extremely skittish. That is not represented in this video, haha. They need to be able to burn off all that energy. I think he would drive most people crazy.

+genetsandjazz I can kinda see the skiddish in how she flinched away and kept making that growling noise when you touched her. Or is that noise just something they do?

are they do like a cats? do i have to put a sand to the bowl? how long ill takes to learn?
@genetsandjazz9 жыл бұрын
tomas thomasmiquel He never really learned, I just put them in the spots where he went and he usually goes in them. He almost never misses with pee but sometimes poops out of it. There's kitty litter in there to control the smell.
