And quitting soda for a long time I actually cringe at the thought of binging on sugar, I mainly drink water now (and beer 🤫) and I've been thin and fit and feel great physically. When the talked about watering down movies to make them kid-friendly, I always think of Spider-Man 3. When you look at the deleted scenes and what the movie was originally going to be, it makes me sad. It absolutely would have saved the franchise if they'd gone the darker route with a dark character like Venom. In the final fight, seeing Eddie Brock's dissolved skeleton inside of Venom, and Peter sees what his fate would have been if he'd stayed in the suit - that could have been and SHOULD have been a much darker, sinister movie, and it's sad to see how close it was to being that.

On the topic of R rated super hero movies, Captain America 2 is a perfect example of how to make a visceral action film that isn't full of gore. The fight scene direction was phenomenal. Sure, showing more blood would be cool, but it didn't actually need it. That bit where they grappled with a knife and it ended up shearing along the side of a van was fucking awesome.

My favourite cereal are the Coco Puffs Nial talks about, Frosted Flakes make a close second. Not like there is much to choose from here though, all the other cereal we have is honey pops, special K and some weird sqaures with chocolate filling that is so sharp it will make your mouth bleed if you try to eat it without letting it sog first.

Niall, you probably didn't get diagnosed with ADD because you don't have it. As a psychologist, lemme tell ya that well, first, I don't know how it works in the U.S./Ireland, but here in Spain at least your general practitioner shouldn't be able to give you a diagnosis if you asked him to. If you went to a specialist, you can't just tell him you have some symptoms of ADD. Supposing he followed the criteria of the DSM-IV (one of the more widely used diagnostics manuals, if not the main one), there is a set number of symptoms that have to coexist, and also presence before the age of 7, AND impact on your life (job, educations, social life...) and seeing how according to the Podcast's stories you aced your scores to go to med-school, it's safe to say you're probably more lazy than hyperactive/inattentitve. I still like you though.
