What’s up sleeves! I personally love the different slew of question in the who should you choose series as I have watched every episode for about three years now. For those of you complaining about sleeves branching off on other topics that stops him from getting to your lineup questions I have a simple solution. Turn on your notifications, it takes literally 5 seconds to get down a blank comment and comeback and edit it. Keep up the good work banger content and when in doubt Austin 3:16 it out.

My biggest issue is with Squad Battles is the reward ranking tiers and rewards just aren't worth the grind unless you finish in the Top 100. Rank 1 - 100: The seperation between these tiers is Rank 1 >92,000 BP and Rank 51-100 ~ 91,000 BP, the difference between Rank 1 and 100 basically is about 1000 BP. The bottom end of Elite Tier 1 to Rank 101, the difference is astronimical at around 39k-42k Battle Points. This means you can be moved down to Elite 1 from Rank 50-100 over one single BP and you share a rank/reward Tier with people who played half the amount of games as you and have ~40k-45k BP than you on the bottom end of the Elite Tier 1. The rest of the tiers from Rookie all the way to Elite 2 are seperated by a mere 100's to ~10k-12k BP which makes a little more sense. I would not recomend anyone grind SB unless they are 100% certain they are finishing in the top 100. Basicaly only play the bare minimum that they need to get to Elite 3 or the bottom end of Elite 1 and then stop playing SB completely for the week and focus the time and energy elsewhere which will be more beneficial because you are wasting time basically beating a dead horse.

Hey Sleeves, I have X Factor Eichel and Jack Hughes I am considering to upgrade for my fourth line but I only have enough power up collectibles for 1. Who would you rather??? They will most likely play on either of the wings as both wings need to be upgraded and I just want the best player and the best bet for future upgrades and with a consideration to the progression system. I am not a fan of either of their teams they are on nor do I hate either team so that is not a factor with me.

Hey Sleeves, first off i wanted to know who i should take between McCabe (or Sergachev) and Caufield : i already have Svech and Eichel 93 and have PUC for only one more. Caufield is from my favorite team and we rarely get good montréal canadiens card. On the other hand, my left handed defense really sucks. I’m free to play and don’t have many great cards (no TB nor high end MSPs cuz i started at Christmas). My top line LH d man is 87 Lauzon GameDay card… Also, i want to know how to get loads of good packs to work myself towards TB and maybe also pulling great cards, while being a casual player that plays around 15h a week, is stuck in divison 4 and can’t get more than 9 wins in Champs. What do you recommend? Anyway appreciate your content keep up the great work! Edit : Now that new event has dropped, should i spend my PCU on Matthews first? cuz he looks like an S tier card (must make). Then i’ll get one of the cards i mentioned above. Anyone in div 5 or 6 willl disagree that theres no ice tilt. You lose more games to base card teams then teams evenly matched with yours. The minute you upgrade your team they will play worse period 1 and 2. The ice tilt comes off in period 3. Facts i donnt care what redit says.

Hey Sleeves. Love your idea for SB and think a video outlining your idea in detail would be great. Question, why when I use button passing does the puck not go to the player for the button I pressed. For example, I have a player to the left of me and press A, but im skating up the ice with my left stick upward. The puck will routinely pass forward even though I press A for the guy to my left. Why?!?!

I have both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X! After testing both for a solid two weeks when I first bought them.. I have regularly used the Xbox Series X and during the last year I have actually only turned on my PS5 twice.. and only to do software updates!😅. My point being, the Xbox Series X far surpasses the Sony PS5! I don’t know if I will buy the next PlayStation…which is a sad thing to think about since I have so many great memories of games that I have played on the PlayStation 1 and 2! Now it’s just a very expensive ornament on my tv stand !

Hey sleeves, great content. I just sold my 3 Suzuki xfactors for a total of 1.5 mil profit, feels good to finally be hut rich for the first time ever. Im looking to buy+upgrade either PUI Lemieux or Gretzky. Longterm, Lemieux seems to be the 'right" choice because of size and that he can play as a right handed winger, but his endurance and durability scare me because a player's energy seems to be so important this year. Disregarding size (since everyone gets clobbered regardless) Gretzky seems to make more sense. Who would you choose?

You keep mentioning how many controllers you go through on PS5. Xbox isn't any better, FYI. In fact, the parts for the sticks that cause stick drift are basically the same (potentiometers made by the same manufacturers). I have a drawers full of Xbox controllers that have varying degrees of stick drift. I have taken them apart and cleaned them to get some more value out of them, but they all eventually fail again. In particular, the button clicking on the left stick frequently stops working. I would have to open the controller up, and zip tie the broken stick and put it back together. The zip tie method is well documented on KZbin. This is why I like the auto hustle feature as it prevents that stick from being broken. Hated that they didn't include auto hustle in this release.

I have 0 faith in EA changing squad battles and if they screw it won’t be playing anymore and a lot of people agree. If they do change it though I hope they do something similar to 2K with the NBA my team where they have triple threat offline and clutch time. I hate having to play 36 games in a week for good rewards. I would way rather have something where you just play randomly generated teams in 1 period games or even full games with wheel rewards so you can still get good stuff even if it’s a low percentage you only have a small amount of time most weeks to play and I find myself using all of it mindlessly grinding squad battles on 2 minute because I know I’m only gonna get to play 15-20 games and I won’t get good rewards anyways lol. The seasons idea still doesn’t solve the problem of most people don’t have enough time to play all the modes and get reward, not even close to it. We need to move away from weekly resets because not everyone can play for 8 hours a day

Xbox controllers are just as bad. I bought the new xbox in October and ive been through 4 controllers. I still have not had a controller that doesnt disconnect on me randomly in the middle of games. I am forced to play with my controllers plugged in to the xbox but this may be an issue with my actual xbox not the controllers. Ive always been a playstation guy but listening to you complain about ps5 makes me wish this game was still available on PC. I only have a console specifically to play chel

Hey sleeves, what do you think about next year revamping the hut challenges by allowing you to lower the difficulty on challenges where the trade off for doing that is a loss of rewards, ie: the barzel challenges, you could lower the difficulty and instead of getting 8 collectables per star you get 2 less per difficulty decrease, idk just an idea

I’m excited to build the Elite MSP Matthews, he’s one of my favorite players and I had been using his All star card, so this is a big upgrade. What do you think of the event? Is the 94 Matthews worth the grind for the PUCs and event collectibles? Also are goalies more likely to save top corner shots on their glove side vs their blocker side?

Hey sleeves, i’m having a tough time getting shots off in rivals / hut champs. Team builder Modano makes the most of the ones I do get but often times I simply can’t get enough shots to stay in the game and win, and instead I either get it stolen or my player gets bodied even if they have good endurance, hitting, etc. Any suggestions? Also, I hover back and forth between Div 4 and 5 in rivals if that helps

Hey Sleeves! Am I the only one who can't switch to the closest player when chasing the puck down the ice. Anytime the puck gets sent down the ice, I can switch to any player but the one I want and it drives me crazy. That and the weird animation that Dmen will get stuck in when going to the back of my own net, as if they are trying to avoid something or getting stuck on the goalie. Anybody else have issues with this?

Love the content - first year back since NHL 20 - the videos help me understand msp, market and events. Thanks! I got lucky and packed X factor Makar today in Rivals packs. There is only one listed for sale (ps5) for 400,000. Do I sell Makar, or start saving up PUC to add him to the roster. Top 2 lines are mostly 93+, TOTY and Icons, plus 90 Weber hutverse on C. Top 4 D are Salo, Hedman, Lindstrom and Hutverse Ovi. Salo is my only 93 TB. If I sell Makar, how much - and what do I buy? Rest of the team is 89+. Div 3 - 10 wins in Champs.
