As an average player who grinded for the last few years, I normally kept my best 17 cards (backup G could be anyone) and any 74-81 base NHL cards for team builders. I traded in silvers and non NHL gold players below 82. Sold everything else. I made most of coins by grinding. However I'm taking extended time away HUT. Gameplay is too frustrating for me as an old head. I want to thank Sleeves for the videos as they were a great help

There’s always going to be updates and gameplay mechanics that won’t work because of bad game development from EA developer.

I started playing HUT this year because if you Specifically. I am also a NMS and had no idea what I was doing. I ended the year with an 87 ovr team and TBH I'm proud of that. Your tips have helped SO SO MUCH

Big Tip - Find the easiest reward challenge and spam it until you max it out. There was an ICON challenge in 24 that gave you something like 30k or 40k for completing something like 500 dekes with a PUI player. It sounds like a lot but two or three games on rookie in squad battles sitting behind the net doing toe drags got you that coin. It is so useful early in the year to flip and build your coin collection. There were other ones like win faceoffs with x factors easy coins for the start

If everyone stopped spending money on hut all the other game modes would improve drastically. Versus mode is boring, Chel has become boring, No 5v5 draft champions mode anymore. They want to steer you towards buying cards.

This was my first year that I played HUT. I had a blast and am very hardcore. Your videos have been critical and I thank you. For me the first thing is that I will be playing for launch. And not November. I found I was to far behind with team builders. Will also spend more time on rivals and champs. I feel that my game play is where it needs to be to play that level

Team builders was the biggest waste of cards ever. I would focus on those last. The best way to get ahead is by playing the auction house. Sniping cards that are far below price and reselling. The 2nd best thing is watching for high percentage packs. Quality of the pack is better than quantity. As soon as you start throwing coins at packs just to rip em that is where you lose and waste time.

I think Im going no money spent after the deluxe edition. This used to be a game I had zero issue spending money on, and still want to. But I noticed I get so invested that I miss out on better game releases. So its just fun, and getting better this year so if it sucks quitting early won't hurt as much.

The best way to not spend money in NHL 25 is to just not buy NHL 25. This series needs a boycott.

The only think you need to know about NHL 25 is the price. If they charge anything more than an upgrade price, walk away and don't look back. If NHL 25 gameplay is anything remotely close to NHL 24, run the other way regardless of price tag.

A fantasy hockey card fix could be where. You have a higher starting overall. ( so you can use that card). But have the card increase .5 for goals scored.

my question is.. if you would rather sell high rated base cards near the start of the game… how are you going to be competitive? hard to be comp without a good team and you can’t get a good team if you sell all of your high rated cards

The “elastic band” of teams is much lower early on. For example let’s say your a div 2 player and you played against other div 2 players in the first month their team won’t be exceptionally better. If you started in January and went to div 2 the card base would be a much wider gap!

I had a fantasy choice pack early on with boldy and Gauthier. I chose gauthier. It's the first time I bothered w fantasy. It was a lot of fun following him throughout the season. He got to 99 on the FINAL day.

No to HUT, no to Eashl, no to youtube blabla. No Total control, no to pressure clock, on and on.. how player finally understand.. as long as hut and modes like these getting youtube views and money they will never change a thing.. sooner than later they will just focus on hut and remove all the other modes due to financial reasons.. its a nightmare for a long long time nhl fan, fan of the sport. HUT and eashl is just about money, fantasy league, glitchgoal celebrating hardcore dudes.. and nothing is there to support the gamer that is looking forward to play some games vs friends. Or a season mode, or playoff mode online.. give us more opportunities than these HUT card picking Question to this community.. does nhl need the official license? I mean.. how many are just playing with fantasy players in eashl or random teams in HUT? ... last good game.. nhl 14..

I would spend the 4600 on the first event drop. Base cards are at their highest value so everything you pull you can sell for the highest price

I challenge you to do all tradable rewards. No doubt this year was easy to obtain a god squad. And just like yourself. I found myself stuck with many great cards. But all untradable. And i found it boring. It invest myself in an untradable card that i thought was going to be the shit. And. Was just that. Or even investing in xfactors. The half off power up system from this year proved quite gracious. Who knows for next year. But. I think you can challenge yourself above unreadable rewards. The

Long time fan, keep up the good work! Appreciate all the content. 👏👏👏 1st time posting.....I could go on and on about all the problems that need to be fixed. Seems like most of us are on the same page, the game needs to be more consistent and a bit more fun, less of a grind like we are all going to work (at least the Hut players). Below are 3 very simple things I would like to see changed and from what I read in the comments, no one has brought up these issues....maybe I am just crazy, lol. 😆 1. Back up goalies.....WHY even have them?! Ya, sure I guess they might add that one little synergy boost, but thats about it. SO why not allow us to actually use them in a game?! Hear me out.....say you have a theme team with a small goalie that gets the job done for the most part, but then you run into a godsquad and boom, Sawchuck can't make a skate save to save his life. Would be nice to have a backup we could actually play with. 2. Automatic losses if EA servers crap out. WHYY?! Games should just not count....or any solution that is better then a loss for both players. I work 3rd shift so do a lot of my gaming between 1am-5am. I live in a decent size city in Michigan and have the best internet available that is hardwired to my Xbox. Nothing worse then being up 4-0 in the 3rd and the servers or the ISP cuts out and its an auto loss....I think that's really dumb. 3. The A.I. needs a big overhaul, especially the refs. Tired of all the BS "interference calls" and other crap. 90% of stick lifts/tie ups end up as penalties and since we are on the subject. Why is being on a PP almost an automatic goal against? Seriously, if I am down in a game I purposely take penalties because I know 80% of what I throw on the net is gonna go in, sad to admit that....but it's not good hockey. Sadly, I say that to myself all the time when I play this game "gotta play shity, selfish, bullshit hockey to win". And that's brutal....but most of us do it, especially against the CPU.
