I really think the safest cards to grab are 83’s and 84’s. They are the closest in value and if EA does go for that infamous skip by 2, you don’t lose mass value. For instance, hoarding 85’s and EA decides to go 78 80 82 84 86, has them at 15k (85’s). So 84’s will definitely jump to 15k but it defeats the purpose on stacking 85’s. So vice versa and EA goes 81 83 85 87, then 84’s from 6.5k take the 83 value of 4.5 but will jump to 8k minimum which you profit regardless. Lastly 86’s are too much of a risk because going from their 40k, down to the 85’s 15k is a crazy disaster. Normally EA values 86’s = 2 85’s. Just my thoughts on what makes the most sense when going in blind.

First Fantasy event was 3 80+, 2nd/3rd Fantasy (WJ) were 3 83+ If they continue that pattern guessing 3 86+ for 3 collectibles 5 84+ for 2 then 7 80+ for 1

If you think 1 86 = 1 collectible, then not sure what to tell you. 86 goes for 40k while 80’s go for less than 2k. If they make it 40collectibles then it will cost 1.6 million for 86’s (no way) and 80’s 12k per collectible x 40 is 480k (also impossible). 86’s will most likely get you 2 collectibles while you will need more in the 10 80’s per coll. That’s what the math is most likely at.

Last year i entered toty with 3 mill and made them all except the goalie its not impossible ! I've made the mistake in the past of making all 6 (or more with Heise and Knight) and locked my team up. It made making MSPs not worth it because they were always second or 3rd liners. It ruined tha part of the game for me. This year, I want Mackinnon because he is my favorite player, and McDavid because the charge card is waaaaay to expensive and will likely not be much better, if at all. That's it. Especially because I have Lemieux, and want Iginla and Gretzky.

You have to act fast going in with coins is a terrible idea get fodder maybe 85s will be a good but just buy them at the lowest price keep refreshing I know its annoying but that's how you get the best value you will prob be able to make 2 minimum.

one maybe two, if u buy a shit load of 85s with all those coins u might be able to get two or three. remember the price of cards sky rockets when the event starts. don't save your coins spend them g. even if u can only make one u can sell the rest of your 85s u bought for double of what u bought them for mid event. u go in with coins is probably the dumbest play possible. u should have been buying cards two weeks ago, u better hurry up, soon the cards will start rising when other like u realize they need to start buying cards.

Why won't they do any champs cards other then 90s era guys. Give us some current players. I used to love when they would do some super random current guys. That way people can get a card that My never get a card otherwise. I remember the Sammy blais past year that was crazy good for me. And sleeves will remover the Jonathan dahlen who was the best card on the game for like a month before anyone had ever heard of him. I like that, I like some random cards give us some of those.

After what they did to Tkachuk and Heiskanen last year, ooh this event angers me. McDavid, MacKinnon, and Makar were great, however. I also got Knight, and that card sat on my 4th line forever. Anyway, BNDs and excessive timers killed no money spent, and I haven't played since November. I really want to play, but this mode just wasted too much of my time after launch that I lost interest. For instance spending an entire week trying to qualify and finish a Champs run and couldn't manage 10 wins. They don't give out Champs collectibles anymore so if you don't get 10 wins, you get garbage. The entire run was just setting up or trying to prevent one-timers and I just lost most of the battles. Horrible experience. Entire week wasted. Good luck with TotY everyone.
