this is coming from someone whos always used a pwr fwd in eashl but i love gauthier. i planned on making michkov but after using gauthier in the moments i had to make him and hes been great in rivals. either way hes going towards barzel but id have him at A teir myself regardless of zone ability or synergy.

endurance should be a stat that EA boost on released cards every month like overalls. So October endurance is like 82 overall min, then november its 83 and so on if you are looking to make Barzal, wait until we see what season 2 brings. For all we know they bring a right handed superstar charged Mack or a hologram with free wheels that can challenge Barzal. Dont be dumb and do him immediately like me. We have a lot of time left in the sets

How is Hutson a liability in his own zone ? hes got like 90 stick and 89 d awareness thats actually really good combined with his mobility...and you can hit if you have him lined up too. O well

@SleevelessGaming i had just taken a hit with Hutson before writing my comment and granted it wasn't a kill but the guy fell and i got the puck, I totally agree with you that hitting with lane is a risk which makes him a liability at hitting, but he can get away with not hitting unless needed or set up with support like when the guy has no where to go because of support then yeah he can hit but against users I almost never go for hits with Lane and if I do its only effective because they were expecting me to take a run with em and poke, like last Montreal's game a big foward from Vegas tried to Deke through Lane and Lane just hipchecked him clean as f. Not because hes good at hitting because of the surprise. Or that he's #1 on the team for most defense stats in real life without hitting. You don't really need to hit to play good D. TL DR : I agree that his hitting is a liability to a point but his overall defense game is good, hes by far my most effective dman

Debating hard on making Barzal, did all the objectives but I love going into TOTY with a mass of fodder. I'd be nuking all my non-TB/XF 83s, all 81s, good amount of 79s. Especially as I already have Selanne, Eichel, and Panarin 🤔

My top 4 wingers are all right handed with either wheels and elite edges, barzal, mackinnon, kyrou, selanne. I rarely take one timers with my forwards only my d so I don;t care that much about too many righties. 10-2-2 in champs rn my best run of this year with these guys barzal is a cheat code lmao.

I made Michkov to replace my Maurice Richard. Playing Rivals is a bit frustrating because of those fantasy hockey cards. The only players I'm facing in Div 2 are players with fantasy Parayko, Ekholm, and the guy from the Ducks, paired with Titan Panarin and Gretzky/Lidstrom/Sandin cards. Pretty tough to play defense against them in the first place, but I'm having a hell of a time playing any offense when a pinky toe knocks my guys off balance. But I really enjoy Squad Battles

Yall are lucky to have your celebrini be good cause mine was complete and utter dogshit to the point where I used him and Hutson to make barzal which got more points than the celebrini had after 11 games, WITHIN A 6 MINUTE PERIOD (5 points barzal and 4 celebrini)

I made Hutson since I’m a habs fan, and pulled a tradeable michkov. I should have enough to make another master set, but not sure if I should trade in a tradeable michkov + another 86 for barzal

Will Smith has been better for me than Macklin Celebrini, but my Sharks theme team is pretty sick. Wish I could have started playing earlier to get the 85 Marleau, but the 81 is actually pretty solid

It's easier to do it with Total control-controller settings and push iirc Square (or X for Xbox). And the shots need to either hit the goalie or go in goal, blocked shots or shot which go wide don't count.

Sleeves! Loving the content still. There is something about Michkov's stride that makes him seem faster then his rating. I made Mitchkov and Hutson last week. Playing the 3 goals Celebrini Moment. His shot just feels underwhelming. Just hard to score with him. Wishing [Bound] cards were not even put in there. In the past it made making a couple cards a lot easier then just going for 1. Come end of the year we'll be going through our stacks of cards to trade in and your'll have page after page of BOUND cards. Just a bad move I think on EAs part when trying to make a couple cards each event. Keep up the great work!

Good morning, Sleeves! Longtime subscriber but first time commenter. Absolutely love the videos. I typically begin to bow out in February, but continue watching your videos. One of my favorite parts of the NHL community. I currently have a slew of RH wingers. Currently running Barzal, MacKinnon, Eichel, and Panarin. I also have Stamkos at C and GC Scheifele and Fantasy Zetterlend in my collection. All this to say that I completely agree that Barzal is a must-make. I was hesitant given my situation, but he has been my best card all weekend. I’ve got enough 83 NG cards to come back and make Celebrini again. Would you recommend him over the cards in your A tier given the endgame projection?
